NSW: Secret drug lab discovered in Sydney's south-west
SYDNEY, Dec 3 AAP - Three people are being questioned after a garage fire overnightled to the discovery of what is believed to be a secret drug laboratory in Sydney's south-west,NSW police said today.
Shortly before 8.30pm (AEDT) yesterday, police were called to a home in Boonoke Crescentat Miller after reports of of a domestic situation.
They noticed suspicious activity at the home and after applying for search warrants,found a fire in the garage of the house.
NSW Fire Brigades crews extinguished the fire.
Police located a quantity of chemicals at the premises which they believe to be precursorsin the manufacture of illicit drugs.
A man and a woman are assisting police with inquiries at Green Valley Police station.
A forensic chemist and police have examined the premises.
Their inquiries are continuing.
